Our History
Located at Gallery 119 in historic downtown Pendleton, IN.

Pendleton Artists Society (PAS) operates as a 501 (c)3 run by volunteers and is located at Gallery 119 in historic downtown Pendleton, IN. Pendleton Artists Society was established in 2013 by a group of local artists focused on facilitating the growth of arts in Pendleton, IN. Our membership is now made up of artists throughout Madison County and beyond. Our focus is to bring art & culture to the community. Working along with the Town of Pendleton and the many amazing businesses and organizations in downtown Pendleton we hope to be a part of making Pendleton a destination for the arts, culture, shopping and entertainment.

In 2014, with the assistance of the Town of Pendleton and the Historical Society we purchased a historic building and with donations and volunteer labor gutted and restored a building we now call home. In 2017 we participated in the Town of Pendleton revitalization grant and refurbished our facade to help elevate the look and feel of downtown. With community support and a building fund raiser in 2019 we paid off all debt and are now owners of Gallery 119, home of Pendleton Artists Society.

We are grateful that PAS and Gallery 119 are operated solely by dedicated volunteers. Come in and check out the home of Pendleton Artists Society. We have a beautiful art Gallery space, known as Gallery 119, which hosts exhibits and shows throughout the year. We also have a gift shop open for finding unique and artistic gifts for that special someone. Gallery 119 is also home to two classrooms and a pottery studio. Check out the many activities and events being held right here in Pendleton, IN.

We are proud of what we have accomplished thus far and look forward to many more years of serving and bringing art to our community.
